Welcome / Bienvenidos! My name is Marie Honda. I provide both in-person and online psychotherapy for couples, families, and individuals and welcome the opportunity to work with you.   

Couples

Sometimes our most valued relationships get off-track leaving us suffering and not knowing what to do.  Whether it was an affair or another violation of trust, or simply just the drifting apart that sometimes happens in committed relationships, therapy can help resolve the issues that led to disconnection. Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I strive to help you identify the core issues, shed light on emotional motives, and change destructive patterns of relating to get the relationship out of distress and back to close connection.  

Families

Families of all types face so many issues in this fast-paced world.  Sometimes parents and children get caught up in the challenges of modern life and end up losing their connection to each other which leads to conflict and suffering for families.  In a collaborative, supportive environment, we can work together to uncover the root of the problem and resolve what is getting in the way of a connected and functional family life.

Individuals

Whether it is personal or relationship issues, I can help you explore the obstacles that are keeping you from reaching your goals. I value and respect you as an individual and your unique life experience. I provide culturally sensitive therapy and enjoy working with clients from different backgrounds.
